Privacy

One email, one cookie, nothing else

The short version: sign up and we store your email so we can send you builds. The app keeps everything on your Mac. Here is all of it.

Your email

Signing up stores your email with Resend, our email service — that is where it lives, nowhere else. We use it for exactly two things: your download link and beta updates. No newsletter, never resold, never shared. One line to hello@trycomms.app removes it.

Feedback

Sending feedback delivers your message to us as a plain email. Your address is optional — leave it if you want the free-license credit for a real bug or a shipped feature, or an answer to a question. It is not added to any list.

Cookies and analytics

One functional cookie, comms_beta, remembers that you signed up so the download page can show you the file. Analytics is Vercel’s — cookieless and anonymous. It counts page views, not people.

The app

Comms records, transcribes, and builds the brief entirely on your Mac. Sessions are folders on your disk. There is no account and no server to upload to. The app talks to trycomms.app for one thing: a daily check for new versions.
